BasisFix and CoinLedger

Prices below were read from the vendors’ public pricing or help pages on 25 October 2026 and written down in this project’s competitor notes. Vendors change them. Check the live page before you rely on a number. Nothing here is a rank, a rating, or a claim about search results. BasisFix is launching at $29 per tax year, one-time, not a subscription. There is no checkout in this build. The worksheet is a review with a tax pro.

What BasisFix does not do

Both prices are per tax year rather than a monthly subscription. $29 is under the $49 Hobbyist price recorded that day, for a smaller job: bitcoin CSVs, local parsing, no account. CoinLedger’s blog already walks the 2025 Form 8949 boxes. Overlap on that topic is not a claim that either page outranks the other.

Questions

Is CoinLedger one-time or a renewal?

The pages read on 25 October 2026 describe CoinLedger as one-time per tax year. BasisFix is also one-time. CoinTracker is the product in these notes whose paid plans auto-renew.

Does the $49 Hobbyist price include a refund?

CoinLedger’s public page mentions a 14-day refund. BasisFix does not know whether a given purchase qualifies. BasisFix has no checkout, so it charges nothing to refund.

Which lot methods overlap?

Both name FIFO and HIFO. CoinLedger also names LIFO and adjusted cost. BasisFix adds specific identification and does not implement LIFO or adjusted cost.
